Dear Taylor,
Just a little note to say we are thinking of you. The garden is full of color this week, and we finally tried your apple pie recipe.
I thought you would enjoy a letter you can keep. Looking forward to catching up soon.
With love, Alex

Set it up your way
A personal note should feel personal. A business letter should be consistent. Save the details once, then let your rules handle the next email.
Request a unique email address for your workspace. Match a sender or recipient, optionally filter by subject, and assign a US mailing address to each rule.
Review and edit each draft before mailing, or explicitly authorize autosend for trusted rules. Unauthenticated senders still need manual approval.
Set per-letter, daily, and monthly spending limits, a daily letter count, and a maximum page count. Sending stays within your prepaid credits.
Start with Times Roman or choose from 12 Google fonts. Set font size, spacing, margins, a greeting, and a text signature.
Hide printed To and From fields, subject, date, or address blocks. Remove recognizable quoted replies and choose whether to show page numbers.
Review incoming emails and letter status in one workspace. Preview your letters, download the formatted PDF, and save the original email as an EML file.

Email a note to someone who prefers paper. Use a personal style, a warm greeting, and your own sign-off.
Route selected correspondence to a saved address. Keep a business layout and review each draft before it leaves.
Let an app or assistant email your inbox. Match trusted senders and subjects, then use approval or authorized autosend.

The complete Email to Letter workflow is available through MCP.
Read the MCP guideWith a workspace API key, your assistant can request an inbox, manage rules and budgets, preview a sample, edit drafts, review history, and download PDFs or original emails. Approval and mailing retain your authorization requirements. Administrators can manage polling through MCP, too.
Example request: “Set up a rule for emails from Alex, use a personal letter style with my signature, and hold every letter for my approval.”
Create a DirectMailAmerica account, request your unique inbox, and save a rule with the sender or recipient email to match and the US mailing address. Send or forward an email to that inbox. Matching messages become formatted letter drafts for approval, or are mailed under an autosend rule you have authorized.
No. Use your existing email app to send to your generated inbox, and manage rules and letters in your browser. Developers and AI assistants can also use the hosted MCP server with a workspace API key.
The default check interval is 10 minutes. An administrator can change the interval or pause polling. Email processing and postal delivery are separate steps; this is not an instant delivery service.
Yes. Choose approval mode to review the PDF, edit the letter, see the price, and approve or reject it. Autosend requires your explicit authorization. Messages whose sender cannot be authenticated still require manual approval.
Set a maximum cost per letter, daily and monthly spending budgets, and a daily letter count. Rules also have a maximum page count. Sending uses prepaid workspace credits and stops when a budget would be exceeded or credits are insufficient.
Yes. Choose which To, From, subject, date, and address fields appear on the printed letter. Add a greeting and text signature, remove recognizable quoted replies, and set font size, spacing, margins, and page numbers. Times Roman is the default, with 12 Google fonts also available. The envelope still uses the mailing address from your rule.
Email to Letter formats the email's text body into a letter, including text extracted from HTML emails. Attachments and embedded images are not printed automatically. You can download the original email from history, or use the standard Send a Letter workspace to mail a finished PDF.
